Palm Bay, FL Raymond P. Drouin, 80, died Wednesday, December 6, 2017, in Palm Bay Florida. He was born July 1, 1937, in Westbrook, the son of Emile and Irene (Richard) Drouin. Ray grew up in Portland and was a 1956 graduate of Cheverus High School. Ray worked for the S.D. Warren Paper Company where he retired after 37 years of service. He was a devout catholic and past parishioner of St. Anne's of Gorham, St. Anthony's of Westbrook, and current parishioner of Our Lady of Grace, Palm Bay, FL, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and also volunteered at the soup kitchen at Fishes and Loaf's. Ray loved cars, hunting, and fishing with his grandson, Evan. He will be remembered for his lovable personality and ability to make friends wherever he went. In addition to his parents, Ray was predeceased by his sisters Johanne Bain and June Mathiot. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Judith (Bubar) Drouin; children, David P. Drouin and his wife Lisa of North Gorham, and Cheryl D. Patten and her husband Frank of Buxton; grandchildren, Mathew Drouin, Stephanie Corey and her husband Dustin, and Evan Patten; great grandchildren, Asa, Silas, and Jadon Corey; sister, Carolyn Milligan and her husband Bill of Fayetteville, PA; and brother, Benjamin Parker and his wife Bette of Worcester, MA. Visiting hours will be held from 4:00PM – 6:00PM Sunday, December 17, at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 35 Church Street, Westbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 18, at St. Anthony Padua Parish, 268 Brown Street, Westbrook. Burial will be announced in the spring at Hillside Cemetery, Gorham.
