Randy James Randall, 59, died unexpectedly June 28, 2024, in Portland, after suffering a fatal tear in his aorta causing a massive stroke. Randy was surrounded by family at the time of his death. He was born in Portland, on August 17, 1964, the cherished son of Sandra D. Rogers (Lowe) and Gary J. Randall. Randy graduated from Deering High School in 1982, he later went on to serve his country in the US Marine Corps. He was stationed at Cherry Point, North Carolina as a computer operator. After serving in the Marine Corps, he joined the National Guard. Randy was predeceased by his brother Gary Randall Jr. He is survived by his father Gary Randall and his doting mother Sandra Rogers. Randy was her only son leaving behind a void that can never be filled. He is also survived by the love of his life Kimberly Randall (Ross), daughter Veronica LaCascia and her husband Thomas, Jared Randall and his wife Delaney, and Kristen Randall. Randy also leaves behind his esteemed son Ransom Randall and treasured daughter Skye Randall, whom he shared with longtime partner, Kristyn Reid. He was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren from Delaney and Jared. Randy had two younger siblings, Dylan Randall and Alyssa Randall by his Stepmother Tammy Randall. He loved his family including his many cousins, nieces, nephews, and of course his dear friends. Randy had been a Garage Door man since leaving the service. The final years of his door legacy were spent working with his lifelong best friend, David Close. He was an avid skateboarder his entire life, willing to grab any nearby board for a riding handstand or to hang ten. "Redneck Randy" could build anything out of nothing, loving to tinker and create with any available materials. He loved shooting darts with friends, winning trophies with his Jaded Saints team. Randy coached on his children's little league baseball teams, umpired, and played baseball/softball his entire life. He was a superstar Karaoke singer, relishing in performing for the entire venue, especially at Wessie's Den in Westbrook. Above all, Randy was a beloved father and his love for his five children kept him going. Although his life was cut short, it was a complete life, and entirely full of love. His family is grateful for the support from the countless loving friends and family members who knew him. A visiting service will be held on Friday July 5th at Dolby-Blais-Segee 434 River Road Windham, ME from 4 to 7 PM. The funeral service will be held there on Saturday July 6 at 9 AM, followed by a procession to Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook. Following the burial, a reception will be held at Stockhouse Station in Westbrook from 12:30 to 3 PM.
