Windham – Keith Austin, 59, passed away at his home on March 9th after a year long battle with stage 4 appendiceal cancer. He was the youngest child of Norma and Bob Austin of Westbrook (both deceased) and brother to Stan of Saco (deceased) and sister, Bonnie who resides in Westbrook. He graduated from Westbrook high school and SMVTI. He is survived by an adoring wife, Beth, and 5 sons ranging in ages from 35 to 14 and their spouses and children - Steve of Portland, Tom, Nick, Alex and Tucker all of Windham. He was a big man in both size and spirit and loved his family dearly. They in turn thought of him as a sage, a master of the argument (like his grandfather whom he never knew - it must have been in the genes) and an honest and insightful advisor. Let it be known to all that he was dearly loved and will be missed but not forgotten by his family. Many stories will be told to his grandchildren for years to come so that they will appreciate what a wonderful and loving man he was. There will be no services per his request.
