South Portland, ME - On December 31, 2023 Rafael G. Costales passed away. He was a gentleman from the start, generous, kind and a great husband, father and uncle. He worked at Westbrook Spinning Company and S.D.Warren Paper Company. Rafael leaves his wife Virginia; children Michael, Edward and Karen; brother Luis and Elaina Costales from Florida, sister Suzanne from Cuba and many nieces and nephews. Rafael will be honored with a graveside funeral on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook. A reception will begin at 3:00 p.m. at The American Legion, 300 Conant St., Westbrook.
