Obituary

Priscilla Lorraine Bard, 79, of Windham passed away May 6, 2026 at Northern Light Mercy Hospital. She was born April 14, 1947 in Westbrook, she is the daughter of the late Reny LeBlanc and Elizabeth Goyet.

In addition to raising her four children, Priscilla took art classes which demonstrated her beautiful artist talents. In the late 1970’s and into the 1980’s, took her artist talent and applied it toward becoming one of the first female tattoo artist in the state of Maine. She then worked at S.D. Warren papermill for eight years and became the first female Boiler Operator in the state of Maine. She moved to Florida and worked as a caregiver and also at Manatee Co. Library as an Aide for almost ten years. There she organized children’s events and displayed all of her previous artworks that included drawings, etchings, and paintings. Her passion also included reading and taking care of all of her beloved animals.

She is preceded in death by her two brothers Raymond and Albert LeBlanc, her husband Roger Bard and her grandson Kyle Thatcher. She is survived by her brother Gerard LeBlanc of Westbrook, and her sister Patricia and husband Dana McLellan of Buxton, her four children Richard Pierce Jr. and fiancé Lynn of Oxford, Roxanne and husband Brooks Robinson of Raymond, Rosanne and husband Kevin Thatcher of South Carolina, and Robert Pierce of Windham and his fiancé Sheryl.

She had nine grandchildren Sara, Melissa, Kurtis, Karter, Devin, Dakota, Zachery, Spencer and Ryan. Seven great grandchildren Michael, Danny, Bradley, Luna, Dawson, Tyler, Niko, and many nieces and nephews.

She was deeply loved and will be missed. Her request was to be cremated at Dolby Blais & Segee Funeral Home in Windham and to have a private celebration of life which will be held at a later date.
