Portland- Phyllis E. Mayo-101 Phyllis (Everett, Littlefield) Mayo, 101, left this world peacefully being reunited with her husband on Tuesday, Sept 13, 2016. Born in Portland, ME May 4, 1915 to Vernon Everett Sr and Helen (Sherry) Everett, she attended Portland schools, graduating from Deering High School in 1933. She was quite a fire cracker with very high standards. She kept an immaculate home,beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, made her own clothing and played the organ, becoming a member of the Hammond Organ Society. She loved having visitors and would tell stories of her cross country adventure and flying sea planes. She was pre-deceased by her parents, sister Viola Hilton, brother Vernon (Bill) Everett Jr and 2 husbands-Frederick Littlefield then Dana Mayo III. Phyllis is survived by 2 sons-Sherry Littlefield and wife Shirley of Windham, Frederick (Rick) Littlefield and wife Terry of Barrington, NH, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 2 nieces.
