WINDHAM - Philomena Caiazzo Fowler, known affectionately as "Mammam", 91, of Windham, passed peacefully on Friday morning, March 17, 2017. Born in Portland, daughter of Ursula Rega and Gaetano Caiazzo of Italy. She was raised in Portland and was one of 11 children. She is survived by five of her siblings, Mary Fasulo, Tony Caiazzo, Ursula Carver, Delores Nelson and Patty Ross. She was married to the late Franklin Fowler and raised 4 children, Loretta Fowler Zemla, Franklin Fowler, Gary Fowler and the late Anna Fowler Ross. She was the heart and soul of her family and was known for spoiling her 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren with love, her famous spaghetti sauce and chocolate. She enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family, dancing the jitterbug, playing beano, crossword puzzles and watching her shows. She was loved dearly and will be sorely missed. Her life journey is a reflection of the love and respect her family had for her. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 673 Stevens Avenue, Portland, ME.
