Milton, FL Philip A. Locke, 66, died Wednesday January 31, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital, after a brief battle of cancer. He was born November 5, 1951, in Westbrook, a son of Arthur and Lois (Cobb) Locke. Phil grew up in the Little Falls neighborhood of Gorham and was a graduate of Gorham High School. He enjoyed a career as a truck driver and had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, and carving walking sticks. He will be remembered as an outgoing witty guy, who loved riding his Harley. In addition to his parents Phil was predeceased by a brother Reginald Locke. He is survived by his children, Jeremy Locke and his wife Jennifer of Buxton, Zachary Locke of Hollis, and Chelsea Locke of Hollis; brothers, Arthur Locke Jr. and his wife Vicky of Gray, and Anthony Locke and his wife Lindsey of Gorham; sisters, Sandra Mason of Gorham, Patricia Rich of Gorham, Sharon Creamer and husband Don of Windham, and Cynthia Verrill and husband David of North Carolina; grandchildren, Jacob, Jaiden, Skyler, Colby, and Mason; many nieces and nephews, and his beloved pitbulls, Trinity and Scoot. A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday February 7, at the Windham Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 434 River Road, Windham. A period of visitation will be held from 12:00PM until the time of service. Burial will be held in the spring at Hillside Cemetery, Gorham. Those wishing to remember Phil may make a gift in his name to Children's Leukemia Research Association, Inc.
