Obituary

WINDHAM—Philip James Greenlaw, 41, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. He was born March 18, 1978, a son of James and Deborah (Bridges) Greenlaw. He grew up in Windham and was a graduate of Windham High School in the class of 1996. He attended Southern Maine Community College and spent his career as a heavy duty diesel mechanic working his way up to shop foreman. Phil was mechanically inclined and enjoyed tinkering and working with his hands. Phil had a larger than life personality with a wicked sense of humor. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the river to paddleboard. On May 5, 2018, he married Jodi Lemmings and loved spending his life with her. Some of Phil's favorite past times include riding his Harley and singing made up lyrics out of tune to his family. He is survived by his wife, Jodi Greenlaw; step-daughters, Alexis and Kacey Hamlin, and his collected kids Danny Stewart, Nate Hagerman and Marshall Dean; parents, Jim and Deborah Greenlaw; sister, Leigh Greenlaw-Kilby and her husband Kris; and nieces Ryleigh and Arya; as well as countless friends. A celebration of life will be held at his home on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2019 from 12noon until 7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Phil's name may be made to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, PO Box 336, Westbrook, ME 04098. Arrangements are in the care of the Windham Chapel of Dolby Blais & Segee, 434 River Rd., Windham, ME 04062.
