Gorham- Paul C. Rogers Jr. 30, passed away unexpectedly, on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. The son of Paul Rogers Sr, and Hope (Armstrong) Rogers, he was born in Portland on February 4, 1987. Paul had many friends and family who loved him. His best friends were his sister Ashley Tapley and her husband Ben. Even though they were brother and sister, the bond of loyalty and love was great. Paul's ability to make people smile and laugh (even when they were mad at him), was infectious. He was very quick witted and funny. He was a gentle giant, a big man in stature, but his heart was even bigger. Anyone who knew him remembered him. Those who truly knew him will remember his wit, his "killer smile", and beautiful blue eyes, that saw more in his young life, that most can imagine. Paul will be terribly missed by his friends and family. He was a very hard worker who worked in the woods, as a paver, and most recently as a carpenter. He loved spreading dirt, and could not go by a gravel or dirt pile without wanting to flatten it. Paul is survived by his beloved father, Paul C. Rogers Sr, of Gorham, his beloved mother Hope Rogers, and her husband Steven Place, of Standish, his sister Ashely Tapley and her husband Ben, of Standish, his niece and nephew, Virginia and Austin Tapley, whom he adored, his grandparents Albert and Mary Armstrong of Cape Elizabeth, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of Paul's life will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 1-4 PM at the American Legion Hall, Route 25, Westbrook. Please come and share stories and love… Arrangements are under the care of Dolby Funeral Chapel in Windham.
