Obituary

WINDHAM, MAINE-Paul Bradley Isabelle passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024. He was born April 14, 1944, to the late Francois Joseph Isabelle and Virginia Esther Reynolds of Cohasset, Massachusetts. Paul graduated from Whitman Hanson Regional High School where he played football and was a star athlete in track and field. Paul went on to graduate from Bentley University and began a career as a franchise owner selling accounting systems and then worked in the greater Boston area as a successful salesman in the office products/furniture industry. In 1963, he met his loving and devoted wife, Carol Ann Richards of Hingham, Massachusetts and soon settled down into life with two children. For 40 years, Paul was a dedicated member of the Daniel Webster Lodge of Masons in Marshfield where he enjoyed volunteering at various events. Paul loved to travel with his wife across the United States and Canada, visiting all the national parks. He was an avid and accomplished mountain climber and climbed every mountain in the White Mountain range of New Hampshire. He also enjoyed reading and loved sailing as a member of the crew for the Two Ten racing sailboat from Cohasset Yacht Club in Massachusetts. Paul was a devote Roman Catholic, attending Saint Christine's and Saint Theresa's Church in Marshfield, Massachusetts. He also enjoyed serving as a Cub Scout leader, where his son, Paul Isabelle, Junior, was a member. He loved spending time in his yard, tending to the gardens and was a member of Mill Pond Tennis Club in Hanover, Massachusetts. He is predeceased by two brothers, Franz and John Isabelle. Survived by his loving wife, Carol Isabelle and his two children, Amy Isabelle Blatchford, of Hull, Massachusetts and Paul Isabelle, Junior of Windham, Maine; grandson Landon James Blatchford; sisters Jennifer Townsend of Titusville, Florida and Jeannie Isabelle of Merritt Island, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the caring staff of St. Mary's D'Youville Pavilion and Beacon Hospice for their dedicated care of Paul. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM on Friday July 19th at Woodside Cemetery in Cohasset, Massachusetts.
