South Portland—Paul John Foley, 74, of South Portland, passed away on October 17, 2017. He was born on November 19, 1942, a son of Thomas J. and Helen C. (Driscoll) Foley. Paul grew up in Maine and California. Paul graduated from Santa Monica High School; he attended UCLA and USM. Paul worked construction, doing a variety of trades and also security at Maine College of Art. Paul was an outgoing "people person" with an eclectic variety of interests, including shopping, body building, rock music, movies, and gemology. Paul loved the family camp on Crystal Lake and tanning and bodysurfing at the ocean. Paul will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He is survived by his children, Rhonda, Andrea and her husband Rico, Bruce and his companion Christina and Brian; grandchildren, Patrick and his wife Kasey and Devlin; and a brother, George. He was predeceased by his parents and other siblings. A memorial graveside service will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11 am at St. Hyacinth Cemetery in Westbrook.
