Paul A. Bilodeau, 78, of Patio Park, Gorham, formerly of Westbrook, passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice Home. He was born in Westbrook, the son of Armand and Eva (Lavoie) Bilodeau. Paul served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in the Panama Canal. He also served in the National Guard and was a Maine State Guard. He worked at Weyerhauser in Westbrook for 40 years before retiring. Paul was a communicant of St. Hyacinth Church and served on the Parish Council and as an Acolyte at Mass. He was a member of the American Legion Post 197, a Golden Age Eagle Order. He is survived by his wife Nancy (Welch) Bilodeau of Gorham; two daughters Judy A. Belanger and husband Steve of Springvale, and Rose M. Gessner of Westbrook; a sister Joan Hanscom of Sanford; and seven grandchildren. A visiting hour will be held from 10 to 11 AM Monday, Dec. 29, at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook, followed by a funeral service at11 AM.
