Obituary

WINDHAM—Patrick Raynald Poulin, 49, passed away on January 13, 2017 after a lifelong battle with diabetes. Patrick was born on February 15, 1967, the youngest of five children born to Raynald and Joyce Poulin of Gardiner, ME. After graduating from Gardiner Area High School in 1985, Patrick went on to graduate with a degree in Pharmacy from Northeastern University in Boston. He went on to work in a number of pharmacies including the Veterans Administration at Togus, Southern Maine Health Care, and a number of private pharmacies. As an accomplished saxophonist and keyboard player, he loved jazz music and had a smile that would warm your heart. He enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, gardening, cooking, and had a special place in his heart for his pets. In his spare time, Patrick enjoyed researching his Franco-American heritage, connecting with family members near and far. Patrick was predeceased by his parents, Raynald and Joyce Poulin of Randolph, and both of his grandmothers, Regina Poulin of Augusta and Amelia Jones of Randolph. He is survived by Craig Hutchinson, his partner of 25 years, best friend and housemate, and his siblings, Michael and Janet Poulin of Vasselboro, Doreen and David Jones of Jackman, John Poulin of Jackman, and Rosemarie and Kenneth Cronin of Buxton. A proud uncle, he is survived by his many loved and cherished nieces and nephews spread far and wide. A celebration of Patrick's life will be held at the home of his sister Rosemarie, 59 Tarbox Ln, Buxton, ME 04093 on January 28, 2017.
