Patricia P. Kimball, 78 Gray – Patricia P. Kimball, 78, died on August 21, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Pelham, GA, on September 4, 1938, the daughter of Claude and Hattie Mae (Wilson) Powell. Patricia, also known as "Tish" or "Pat" to those who knew her, grew up in Pelham, and was a 1957 graduate of Pelham High School. That same year she married Allan Kimball, and the two of them started their family. Allan's career took Pat and their three girls from Maine to Georgia then to Maine again. The couple moved to Windham in 1958, then lived in Gorham, and moved to Albany, GA, in 1961. They lived in Columbus and Tifton before moving back to Maine, settling in Fryeburg in 1969. The family moved back to Windham in 1977, with Pat moving to Gray in 1988, where she resided until her death. While her three daughters were in school, Pat was a stay-at-home mom, but in 1978 she went back to school and received her Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Southern Maine in 1982. With her children grown, Pat worked as a real estate agent at Eagle Realty and eventually started waitressing. Pat was an avid reader, and a fan of many sports, especially the Patriots and the Red Sox. She also enjoyed technology, spending time on the internet reading up on the latest news, keeping in touch with friends, or playing computer games. Pat is survived by her daughters, Karyn Bekit and husband Maakele (Mike) of Gray, Cindy Kimball of Windham, and Marta Kimball of Gray; grandchildren, Joshua, Adam, and Caleb Bekit, all of Gray; Erin Esco of Boston; and Elaina Kimball of Gray; two sisters, Peggy Piland of Albany, GA, and Jeannine Banks of Pelham, GA, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, Martha Goldin, Reuben Powell, Drifton Powell, Sumpter Powell, Joy Kapantais, and Wayne Powell. Per Pat's request, there will be no services. Arrangements by the Dolby Funeral Chapel, Windham.
