In Loving Memory of Patricia Jill (Kubat) Linscott March 5, 1940 - February 24, 2025 With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia Jill Linscott (Jill), at the age of 84, on February 24, 2025, in Standish, Maine. Jill was born on March 5, 1940, in Westbrook, Maine, and spent her life surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of her home state. Jill's greatest joy in life was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 41 years, Robert W. Linscott. Jill was a proud and caring mother to her 3 children: daughter Cheryl Moore, son-in-law Bruce Moore, Son David Porter and Alex Santana Lamboy, Julia Nason and son-in-law John Nason, and stepson Robert Linscott Jr. She also leaves behind Grandchildren Jennifer & Christopher Poulack, Desiree Myhaver and husband Ben Myhaver, Kylee & Jaclyn Nason and Stefan Porter; and Great-Grandchildren Majah Mathews, Dorian Willerson, Abram Myhaver, Naia & Nysa Poulack, Kobe, Isaac & Max Lauzier and Princeton & Julius Porter; and Great-Great Grandchildren Declan, Donnigan and Maisy Sullivan. Jill was a lifelong native of Maine, drawing peace and joy from its landscapes. While she also lived in Vermont and Florida her heart was always with Maine. Whether it was relaxing at Higgins Beach where she spent a large part of her youth, enjoying family time, or spending time at the lake or by the pool, these special places held a special place in her heart. They were the backdrop for many cherished memories with her family, friends and loved ones. With her infectious sense of humor and quick wit, Jill could light up any room. Her laughter was truly contagious, and her playful, silly side brought joy and spontaneity to every gathering. Whether dancing with family or sharing lighthearted moments, Jill's spirit was filled with fun, and her joy was felt by all. Jill's love extended beyond her immediate family, touching the hearts of all who knew her. Her kindness, compassion, and thoughtfulness made her a beloved friend to many, and she found great happiness in spending time with those she cherished and will be remembered forever in our hearts. A celebration of Jill's life will be held Saturday, May 10th, 2025, 10:30a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 612 Main Street, Westbrook, ME, burial will follow after the service at Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook. A reception will be held at Windham Meeting House, 719 Roosevelt Trail Windham ME 12:30p.m. - 3:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to American Stroke Association in her memory.
