Obituary

Portland- Patricia Aileen (Doucette) Foster, 89, of Windham, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017, in Portland. The daughter of Amos and Priscilla (Melanson) Doucette, she was born in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, Canada on August 14, 1927. She and her husband Winston, owned and operated a large Poultry Farm in Norridgewock Maine for many years. Upon retirement, they moved to San Miguel de Allende Mexico where she was a charter Lions Club member. She was also a Lions Club member in Windham for 25 years. They enjoyed traveling in their retirement as well. She was proud that she became a United States citizen in 1965. Patricia will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and Nana. Patricia was predeceased by her husband Winston, in 1993. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Lyman, of East Hartford Connecticut, Judy Jalbert, and her husband Tom, of Standish, and Cathy Fortier and her husband Ed, of Windham. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her sister Marion, and her two brothers Frank, and Hubert. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM, at Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Rd. Windham. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Windham Lions Club or the Morrison Center, Scarborough, Maine.
