Pamela Mae Theberge August 21, 1959 – October 27, 2025 On October 27, 2025, Pamela Mae Theberge passed away peacefully at the age of 66 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Born in Portland to Richard and Beverly Shaw, Pamela grew up in Westbrook and graduated from Westbrook High School in 1977. Surrounded by her family, she slipped from our world into the next. We have lost a gentle, caring soul — the best wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend anyone could ever ask for. Throughout her school years, Pamela formed lifelong friendships that meant the world to her. As a member of the gymnastics team, she competed at the state level alongside some of her closest friends, forging bonds that lasted a lifetime. She also cherished her "Bunko girls," a group of dear friends who gathered monthly to play for more than 45 years. Her quick wit, colorful commentary, and infectious smile could light up any room. Pamela was always the life of the party — ready with laughter, stories, and warmth that made every gathering special. Life was always brighter with her in it, and she wouldn't have wanted it any other way. After high school, Pamela married Bruce Pelletier, and together they welcomed their daughter Kristy and son Benjamin. In 1994, she married Dan Theberge, beginning a loving 31-year relationship filled with joy, adventure, and devotion. Together they enjoyed skiing, camping, paddling down the Saco River, playing tennis, snowmobiling, decorating their homes, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. Pamela enjoyed her trips to the Caribbean, Mexico, and especially Aruba — her perfect sunny beach escape. Among her greatest joys were the trips she took with her grandchildren, Phillip Stearns III and Kylee Lebrun, especially their Disney adventures. Her grandchildren — and all the children in her life — brought her endless happiness. She delighted in creating memories full of laughter and love. Pamela was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Beverly Shaw, and her brother, David Shaw. She is survived by her husband, Dan Theberge; daughters, Kristy Pelletier and Jessica Theberge; son, Benjamin Pelletier; grandchildren, Phillip Stearns III and Kylee Lebrun; and brothers, Richard Shaw Jr. and Timothy Shaw.
