PORTLAND – Oril A. Lemay passed away peacefully Feb. 7, 2023, in his residence at 75 State St., Portland, at the age of 93. He was an army veteran and worked at S. D. Warren for 41 years. Oril was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing, hunting, hockey, and golf. He was also an avid dancer. He spent many hours in his rickety cabin cruiser, during the summer, with his family or anyone he could get on board. He was always up for an adventure. He retired at the age of 59 and moved to Florida. He played golf and tennis and traveled the world one cruise at a time. His final years were spent in a retirement residence in Portland, Maine. Oril was predeceased by two of his sons, Raymond Lucien and Mark Roland, and by his former wife, Paulette G. Lemay, the mother of his children. He is survived by two of his sons and their spouses, Michael R. Lemay and Ronald J. Harper, and Raymond P. Lemay and Jennifer Kain, and his two daughters and their spouses, Marie and Alan Brown and Suzanne and Mark Fountaine. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 from 10 to 11 Am, Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM, at Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Home, 35 Church St. Westbrook.
