Portland,   Norma Newton, 92, went home to be with her Lord on July 21, 2016.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband Leslie, her mother Florence, four brothers and two sisters.  Family was her world.  She leaves behind her dearest friend and sister Janet, two daughters Nancy (Tom) Blair of Maine and Dorene (Charlie) Baker of Virginia, three  granddaughters Christine and Johanna of Maine and Lindsay of Tennessee, six- great-grandchildren Gavin, Cameron, Madison, Courtney, Dane and Natalie all of Maine, as well as a close niece Stacy and many extended family members.   She will be missed and forever in our hearts. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Thursday, July 28, at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook. Interment will follow in Blanchard Cemetery, Falmouth.
