WINDHAM – Nora M. York, 91, passed away at her home on May 20, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Gorham on November 28, 1929, the daughter of Virgil and Cora (Black) Ingalls. Nora will be remembered as a loving mother and wife. She loved to read and considered it a vacation when she had some alone time to relax and read a book. Family was Nora's top priority, she always made sure that the whole family would gather for holidays, especially Christmas and was so accommodating that she would move the time around if a family member couldn't make it. In addition to her parents, Nora was predeceased by her husband, Robert York. She is survived by her son, Bob York; daughters, Carol Davis and her husband, Blaine, Sheila York, and Cindy Snow and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Rob, Blaine Jason, Shannon, Dennis, Sean, Sarah, Robin, Denice, and Danny; and great-grandchildren, Zoe, Gianna, Anna, Bailey, Cassidy, Ainsley, Riley, Macy, Avery, Michael, and Joshua. A graveside service will be held, 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Arlington Cemetery, North Windham.
