Scarborough – Noella M. DeLisle Roberge, 98, formerly of Westbrook, passed away Saturday Dec. 8, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice Center. She was born in Westbrook, Dec. 28, 1913, the daughter of George and Hermine Caron Aube. She was raised, educated and resided in Westbrook most of her life. Noella had been employed by the S. D. Warren Co. for 10 years. She was a communicant of St. Hyacinth, now St. Anthony of Padua Church and was a lifetime member of the Ladies of St. Anne. Noella was very devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Family was everything to her. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was considered a very generous person, by everyone that knew her. She was predeceased by her first husband Camille DeLisle in 1975 and her late husband George W. Roberge in 1986. She is survived by son Robert DeLisle of Orlando, FL., daughters Jeannine Girouard of Springvale and Claire Bloxam Levine of Westbrook, 9 grandchildren Mark, Daniel and Christopher Girouard, Kathleen Hewes, Michelle Gagne, Susan Fossett, Peter Bloxam, Stephen Levine and Robert DeLisle, 14 great grandchildren, 1great great grandchild, nieces Joan Caron, Elaine Philbrick and many friends. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Blais & Hay Funeral Home 35 Church St. Westbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church Brown St. Westbrook. Interment will follow in St. Hyacinth Cemetery.
