Nelson Paul Dube, of Caribou, passed away on July 21, 2022 at the age of 90. He is the son of Joseph and Sophie (Bishop) Dube. He was born in Caribou on November 26, 1931. Nelson graduated from Caribou High School in 1952. He was employed for 37 years at Birdseye where he met his future wife Anita Perrault. They married on October 11, 1954. Nelson and Anita moved to Portland to be closer to their children in 2003 but his heart stayed true to his home town. He is survived by his wife, Anita; daughters, Sandra Sargent, Sheila, and her husband, Jeff Williams; grandchildren, Heather, and her husband, Fred Sullivan, Melissa, and her husband, Jose Nunez, Timothy Sargent, Michael Welch, and his wife, Sheri, Lindsey Williams and Kayla Williams. Nelson is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and one on the way, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Sophie; siblings, Levi Dube and Joann Sinclair, and his only son, Gregory Dube. There will be an hour of visitation at Dolby, Blais, Segee, 35 Church St., Westbrook on Thursday, July 28 starting at 10:00am with a service to begin at 11:00am.
