Nancy Ellen Pinson Poore of Windham, Maine, 82 passed away January 25, 2024. Nancy was born on January 18, 1942 in Bath, Maine the daughter of the late Edwin E. and Dorris L. Pinson. Nancy graduated from Wiscasset High School where she met her beloved husband Milton Robert Poore. After high school Nancy embarked on a journey that spanned decades filled with joy, laughter, and a profound appreciation for nature. Her love for hiking mountains and summers in Boothbay Harbor defined her spirit. She found peace and joy in the simple pleasure of life and the outdoors. Nancy was always known to have a dachshund by her side that brought her companionship and happiness. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband Milton Robert Poore, her brother Edwin E. Pinson, and son-in-law Fergus F. O'Reilly. Surviving are her daughters Heather Blake and Holly O'Reilly and four grandchildren, Colton and Haley Blake and Taidgh and Hannah O'Reilly. One of the accomplishments Nancy was most proud of was completing AMCs (Appalachian Mountain Club) 100 highest peaks in New England.
