Nancy Elizabeth Carroll, 87, of Wildwood, Florida, passed away on March 1, 2026, in Wildwood. She was born on December 17, 1938, in Bangor, Maine, to Robert Fenton McAvoy and D. Patricia Sulavan.

Nancy was a graduate of Deering High School, Class of 1957. Over the years, she worked in banking, owned Covered Bridge Nursery School, served as housekeeper for Monsignor Robert Lavoie, and also worked at Point Sebago.

She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Windham, where she shared her faith through the Ladies Guild, as a Eucharistic Minister, and through Meals on Wheels.

Nancy found joy in traveling, gardening, and, above all, spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Guy N. Carroll, Jr.; her parents; and her siblings, Brian McAvoy and Jane Oullett.

She is lovingly remembered by her children and their spouses: Anne & Roy Nakamura, Catherine & Ronald Willey, Diana & Kenneth Grimes, and Mark & Julie Brown-Smith; her stepchildren, Guy Carroll, Blain Carroll, and Cassie Carroll; as well as her 7 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 3 step-great-grandchildren.

Nancy will be remembered for her warmth, faith, and deep love for her family and community.
