On Monday, April 18, 2022 at 3AM, Muriel June Savage passed away at the age of 87 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 1, 1934 in Corinna, ME to the late Rhona and Herbert Anderson. She worked for several years at Portland Fish Factories and Maine Medical Center which she retired from. She also volunteered with the YWCA. She was a foster grandparent for three years and enjoyed working with the children. She resided in Portland Maine until moving to Windham in 2001. Muriel went on several trips and activities with all her friends in her community through the Parks and Recreations department. She enjoyed people, puzzles, and being on the go. She was a faithful Christian who attended North Windham Union Church every Sunday with Pastor Debbie. She is survived by her children, son Michael and his wife Barbara and daughter Katrina and husband Jim, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Special thanks goes out to Sherri M. Brown and Sally who helped her over the past 10 years, and special thanks goes out to all the Hospice Staff for all they did for Mom and the family. Visiting hour will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Home, 434 River Rd., Windham, ME, from 10-11AM, with a Funeral Service beginning at 11AM. Burial will follow in Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland, ME.
