Falmouth,   Mildred L.(Mike) Mowatt, 85, of Falmouth, passed Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at Sedgewood Commons. She was born in Portland, the daughter of John and Anna (Booth) Trott. Mildred was raised in South Portland and graduated from South Portland High School. She retired from Nissen Bakery where she worked for many years. She found great joy in doing yard work and tending to her flower gardens. She had a love of music, especially listening to Barbara Streisand, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra. Mildred's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially taking her grandchildren to different places. She was predeceased by her sisters Lillian Turcotte and Barbara Smith; and stepsisters Joyce Briggs and Corinne Miner. She is survived by her sons David Mowatt and wife Sherry of Buxton, Cecil Mowatt Jr and wife Janet of Windham, and Kevin Mowatt and wife Pam of Portland; a daughter Vicki Farr and husband Bruce of Westbrook; a brother John Trott of Gorham; two sisters, Beverly Marquis and husband Wayne of Florida, and Sandy Dumbryco and husband Richard of Sebago; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 6 PM Thursday, Dec. 15, followed by a funeral service at 6 PM at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook.
