Michael Eric Hayer, 63, of New Gorham Rd., Westbrook, passed away Wednesday, April 09, 2014 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. He was born in Passaic, NJ the son of George and Yvonne (Ledoux) Hayer. Michael served in the US Army as a salvage diver. He worked as a bus driver for the Portland Metro for many years. Michael was a past Master of the Mason Saccarappa Lodge, a member of the Kora Shriners and part of the Kora Cycle corps. He enjoyed riding ATV's and was a member of the Island Falls ATV Club. Besides four wheeling he enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and traveling. Michael is survived by his wife Catherine (Ellsmore) Hayer of Westbrook, a son Allan Hayer of Harrison, a daughter Genie Hayer of Bridgton, and four grandchildren, Jasmin, Christian, Cameron, and Dade.
