Michael G. Guptill passed away on May 5, 2016 with his loving family by his side after losing his battle with cancer. He was born in Portland, ME on October 29, 1966 to Gloria J. Guptill and Charles E, Guptill, Jr. and later moved to Arizona, Michigan then Maine. He graduated from Trevor G. Brown High School in 1985 in Phoenix, Arizona, studied diesel mechanics at Wyoming Tech and then worked as mechanic most of his life. Mike was a generous man and enjoyed helped his friends, family and neighbors. He loved his family and dogs as well as hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, and making people laugh. Mike is survived by his girlfriend of 18 years, Lisa Mitchell of Buxton, ME, brother Charles "Chuck" E. Guptill, III and his wife Keri Guptill and their children, Mark, Dallas and Tiffany of Muskegon, MI sister Christine E. Gemmell of Phoenix, AZ; and nephew, Derek C. Sayer and his wife Vanessa and great niece, Alexandria of Standish, ME, sister Melanie and husband Steve Hoag of TX along with nephews Joshua and Brett and niece Tara and Mike's father, Charles E. Guptill, Jr. Mike will be dearly remembered and missed by his family and friends. The service will be held on Saturday, May 21, at 10:30 am at Dolby Funeral Chapel, 76 State St., Gorham, ME.
