Westbrook, ME - Michael C. Barnes, 69 of Westbrook passed away Saturday December 2, 2023 at his home. He was born in Portland, Maine February 22, 1954 and had resided in Portland prior to moving to Westbrook almost 25 years ago. Michael served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a mechanic all of his life and had worked for Firestone and other companies. He enjoyed working on cars and took pride with his accomplishments. He recently retired. Members of his family include his fiancée Cheryl Rodney whom he has spent 50 years with of Westbrook; his brother Jeffrey Barnes of the Philippines; and many close friends. He was predeceased by his parents Edward and Nancy (Thurman) Barnes. Per his request, no services will planned.
