BRIDGTON—Mary Lamb Stiles, 85, passed away on June 21, 2018 at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was born May 7, 1933, a daughter of Walter and Helen (Griffin) Lamb Sr. She grew up in Windham and was a graduate of Windham High School. Shortly after school, Mary married Keith Stiles; together they lived in North Carolina while Keith was stationed in the Marine Corps. They later moved back to Windham where they resided for many years; Mary helped keep the books for Keith with the family business, Windham Transmission. After Keith's passing, Mary later became a "snowbird" spending her winters in St. Cloud, Florida, and her summers in Bridgton. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed crocheting. A quietly generous person, she donated countless items such as lap blankets and pot holders to the local nursing homes. Mary will be long remembered for her strong will and independence. She is survived by her son, Keith Stiles Jr and his wife Valerie; brothers, Walter Lamb Jr. and his wife Jeanette, and Frank Lamb and his wife Carol, a sister, Anna Quinlan; grandchildren, Jessica Gilman and her husband Ben, Stacey Tannehill and her husband Bryan, Keith Stiles III and his wife Ashley; great grandchildren, Annabelle, John, Jayden, Lilly, Gabriella, Royce, and Pyper. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 11am at the Windham Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 434 River Rd., Windham, ME 04062 where a period of visitation will be held from 10am until the service. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery in Windham.
