Westbrook Mary Ellen Rogers, 92, died Saturday June 22, 2024, in Portland at Maine Medical Center with her son Bill and his wife Louwana by her side. She was born November 11, 1931, in Portland, a daughter of William and Ida (Kimball) Scott. Mary grew up in Portland and attended local schools. She enjoyed a career as a CNA in different area healthcare facilities. Mary loved crossword puzzles, playing cards, and old time TV shows. She will be remembered for her loving and compassionate personality. In addition to her parents Mary was predeceased by her daughter Shannon Rogers in 1996, and a sister Dottie Walker in 2023. She is survived by her sons, Bill Rogers and his wife Louwana of Northport, FL, and Bruce Rogers and his wife Patty of Portland; a sister Ruth Walsh and a brother in law Mike Walsh, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 10AM Wednesday June 26, at Brooklawn Memorial Park, 2002 Congress Street, Portland.
