STANDISH—Mary C. Hicks, passed away on May 3, 2018. She was born July 17, 1927, a daughter of William and Letitia (Cook) Calvin. Mary is survived by her children, Rindy (Tom) Austin of Fredericton, New Brunswick, CA, and Tina (Brian) Valente of Standish. She was "Duma" to her grandchildren Erika (Garth) Allen of Salisbury, New Brunswick, CA, Elizabeth (Chris) Wilcox of Hampton, New Brunswick, CA, and Evans (Krista) Austin of Edmonton, Alberta, CA; grandchildren, Tomilyn and Cash Allen, Jeffrey and Janaya Wilcox and Ella and Brooklyn Austin. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Neil Hicks. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Standish Congregational Church, 25 Oak Hill Rd., Standish, ME 04084. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to the charity of your choice or Hospice of Southern Maine.
