WINDHAM—Mary Theresa Emmons, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother,72, passed away January 24, 2020 at Maine Medical Center. She was born August 9, 1947, a daughter of Robert and Blanche (Parent) Terjelian. Mary grew up in Massachusetts, graduating from Burlington High School in Burlington,VT. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Trinity College in Vermont. In April of 1975, she married Joseph Emmons and the two remained married 38 years until Joe's passing. Mary was a loving family provider and took great pride in caring for them. She attended all her children and grandchildren's school events and participated in girl scout leadership roles. In her younger years, Mary enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in North Windham. Mary is survived by her loving children; James Benjamin Emmons and his girlfriend Shannon Edinger; and Roberta Mary Emmons; grandchildren, James R. Emmons, Gina Marie Emmons, John Ross Emmons and his girlfriend Toni Towne, and Eldridge Maurice Loftin III "Eric"; great grandchildren, Adrian Michael Emmons, Evander Joseph Smith, and Eliana Amara-Rose Emmons; and a sister in law Lisa Terjelian. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Joseph Emmons, and her brother Paul Terjelian. Services for Mary are private.
