Lewiston – Mary Ann Dobbins, 78, passed away on Friday September 19, 2025. Born in Lewiston January 22, 1947 to Antonio and Mary (Vina) Spugnardi. They gave her the nickname "Princess" and many of her family and friends used this nickname to identify her the entirety of her life. She married Herbert Dobbins and eventually moved to Windham where they raised their children together. Mary retired from Maine Medical Center after working there for decades but continued to work there part time after retirement. She enjoyed travelling and visited most of the states as well as several other countries. She was very involved with her community and church and acted as event planner, treasurer and/or secretary for many of the groups, clubs and organizations in which she was involved over the years. In her spare time she enjoyed shopping, reading, and completing crossword puzzles. Mary is survived by her husband Herbert Dobbins, daughter Krista, son Kirt and his wife Corinne, grandchildren, brother Robert Spugnardi, nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, and her brother Richard Spugnardi. She supported many charities over her lifetime and asked that in lieu of flowers that you make a donation to your favorite charity. As you may know, she fell and broke her neck in May 2023. A combined Celebration of Life Ceremony for both Herbert and Mary Dobbins will be held at Grace Church 628 Gray Road, Windham at 4:00 pm Dec 28, 2025 with a reflection/visitation period from 3:00 to 4:00 pm
