WELLS - Martha "Marti"' Morrison, 78, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022. She was born in Lawrence, Mass on May 13,1944, the daughter of Horace, Sr. and Maud (Disbrow) Killam. When she was 5 the family moved to Biddeford, ME, where she attended school and graduated from Biddeford High School in 1962. She attended Gorham State Teachers College. In 1965 she married Melvin P. Morrison and in 1968 they had a daughter, Dawn Marie. During the 70s Marti was employed by Wasson's Grove Restaurant in Falmouth, as a manager. From there she was in partnership with Marvin Harmon of Harmon's Lunch in Falmouth for 7 years. Upon Marvin's retirement, she owned and operated Harmon's Lunch. She was proud to be a member of the New England Business Association. Marti sold Harmon's Lunch and worked for the Maine Turnpike Authority as a toll collector until she retired at the age of 70. Marti attended the West Falmouth Baptist Church. She was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society for over 40 years, and for the Hospital Chaplaincy Service Correspondence Program. She also served as an Election Clerk for the Town of Falmouth for several years. Marti loved nature and especially loved the ocean. Her happiest memories were of summer days spent at a cottage in Pemaquid, especially when her daughter was with her. She also enjoyed vacationing in Aruba every year with her daughter and son-in-law, Kris Littlefield; niece, Ethel Snyder; and brother, Dwight Killam. Marti is survived by her daughter, Dawn Littlefield of Windham. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Horace Killam of Round Pond, ME, and Dwight Killam of Williamstown, MA. A visitation will be held, 4-6 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Windham Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 434 River Rd., Windham, ME.
