Marion J Roberts (1932 - 2024) Marion J. Roberts, 92 of Naples, ME was called to her heavenly home on July 8, 2024. She was born in Portland, ME on June 4, 1932, to Lewis R. Burnham, Sr. and Doris M. (Works) Burnham. She had one brother Lewis R. Burnham, Jr. and one sister Geraldine S. Quinones. All preceded her in death. Marion attended Portland schools and received her diploma later in life from Portland High School. On August 6, 1949, she married her husband, Lawrence E. Roberts, Sr. They were married for 63 years before his death in 2012. They raised 5 children in Portland until moving to Little Sebago Lake in Gray, where many memories were made with family and friends. She and her husband eventually settled in Buxton for many years until his death, at which time she moved to Naples and shared a home with her eldest son until her own death. She worked most of her life in the banking industry. In her younger years she enjoyed Bowling, Bingo, playing horseshoes (which she could throw ringers on a whim). She loved Red Sox baseball and was a loyal fan right up until her death. She was a member of T.O.P.S where many lasting friendships were created. Until she moved to Naples, she was a communicate of St Anne's Catholic Church in Gorham, ME where she enjoyed helping with the church Christmas Fair and after Sunday Mass going for coffee and bagels with her friends Jackie and Paula. She was also a communicate of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Windham, ME. Her greatest blessings in life were her 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Her daughter; Sharon A. Masters, grandchildren; Amy, Scott, Eric and Lily preceded her in death. She is survived by: Her sons: Lawrence E. Roberts, Jr. of Naples, ME Ronald M. Roberts & his wife Connie Roberts (her one and only favorite daughter-in-law) of Naples, ME Her daughters: Susan E. Houck & her husband Mark Houck of Hollidaysburg, PA Doris A. Maxim & her husband Howard Maxim of Harrison, ME Her Grandchildren: Christy & wife Brindi Chad & wife Wendy McKenna & partner Jamie Garrick & wife Jesip Nicole & partner Bill Jessica & husband Greg Carissa & husband Colin Her Great-Grandchildren: Jennessa, Iris, Jack, Aniya, Mylah, Jaxon, William, Thomas, Grayson, Jack, Logan, Emma, Alex, Evie and Cassie. Her son-in-law: Patrick Masters of Kingman, AZ Her husband's sister Doreen Fecteau & her husband Armand Fecteau of Biddeford, ME Her Cousin Eulah Napolitano of Falmouth, ME Many more nieces, nephews and friends to list here, but whom she dearly loved. A Holy Catholic Service will be held in her honor at St Anne's Catholic Church in Gorham, ME on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park, in South Portland.
