Obituary

STANDISH - Marilyn F. Morin-Percy, 77, passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2021. She was born in Sanford on January 15, 1944 to Lloyd Burnell and Phyllis Sanborn. She attended Sanford Schools. After graduation she began working at Vishay Sprague where she became an engineer, and from there moved on to L.L. Bean. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed her once-a-month luncheon with the ladies she used to work with. She loved camping and sports, especially NASCAR racing, and was able to attended a few. She also loved camping. In addition to her parents; Marilyn was predeceased by her brother, Preston Burnell; and sisters, Toni Shields, and Nancy Hersom. She is survived by her husband, "Chuck" Gardner Percy; son, Brian Morin and his wife, Shari of Windham; daughter, Debbie Pettey and her husband, Mike of Standish; daughter, Sherri Holland and her husband, Mike of North Carolina; son, Joe Percy and his wife, BJ, also of North Carolina; sister, Georgianna Huntress and her husband, Fred; brother-in-law, Roy Hersom; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many fur grandbabies. Visitation will be held, 2-4 p.m., Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Windham Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 434 River Road, where a funeral service will begin at 4 p.m.
