Marilyn Venora LeBorgne, 85, of Westbrook, passed away peacefully in her room at the Gorham House with her husband and family at her side on June 23, 2015. She was born in Portland on March 10, 1930, the daughter of Fredrick and Venora (Sprague) Gray. She grew up in Portland and graduated from Portland High. On June 21, 1952, she married the love of her life, Roger Gerard LeBorgne. Her lifelong best friend Lorraine Begin, was the maid of honor. She converted to the Catholic Church and was a faithful communicant at St. Hyacinth's. She and Roger raised six children in Westbrook. Marilyn enjoyed many different activities including playing cards, bingo, candlepin bowling, camping, and dancing. She loved baking for her family and attending family celebrations. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband Roger, her six children and their spouses, sons Ronald and wife Susan, Ed and wife Solange, David and wife Adele; daughters Pamela and husband Jeffrey Lakin, Eileen and husband Chris Morton, Debbie and husband John Menzies; a brother Ronald of California, 13 grandchildren, Ben and wife Laura, Alison, Craig, Caitlin, Taylor, Paul, Anne, Nicholas and wife Afton, Amanda, Gregory, Kyle, Joshua and wife Rhianna, and Jeremiah, as well as 6 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 6-8 pm at Blais and Hay Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10am at St. Anthony's Parish in Westbrook with interment directly following the service in St. Hyacinths Cemetery. She spent her final 10 months under the compassionate and loving care of the staff in the Oxford Unit at the Gorham House.
