Marie N. Vollkommer died peacefully on May 24, 2024. She was born to Edward and Anna Noll on October 24, 1934 in Queens, New York. On September 11 1954 she married the love of her life James A. Vollkommer. They had 4 children together. She was predeceased by her husband James A, (April 12, 2023) her son James J, (May 8, 1998), her sister Geraldine Conlin and daughter-in-law Patricia Szczesiul. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Vollkommer, Elizabeth and William Wilson, Ursula and Mark Haley, granddaughters, Nicole (Thane) Schuning, Leah (Ellie) Duff-Wilson and greatgranddaughter Gwen Schuning and her sister Rita Koenig. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday May 31, 2024 at11:00 a.m. St. Anthony of Padua Parish St. Anne Church, 299 Main St., Gorham. Burial will follow in the family lot in Calvary Cemetery, South Portland, ME. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Marie's name to Hospice of Southern Maine or the American Diabetes Association New England.
