WESTBROOK – Marie Harmon passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was 68 and had been fighting several serious health issues. Marie grew up in Falmouth and attended Falmouth schools. She was predeceased by her parents, Orris and Athalie Smith Basford as well as her husband, Lester Harmon. She retired from Maine Medical Center after 30 years. Surviving are her step-daughter, Lori and husband Joe Chason; two step-grandsons, Jeffrey and Philip Chason; step-great granddaughter, Abby Chason; brother-in-law, Paul and wife Bette Harmon; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Harmon; a niece, Luri Williams; two nephews, Kevin and Eddie Basford; two brothers, Bill and Allan Basford. Visiting hours will be held 2:00pm – 4:00pm on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Windham Chapel of Dolby Blais & Segee, 434 River Road, Windham. Followed by a celebration of Marie's life at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Parish Hall, 919 Roosevelt Trail, Windham. A private graveside service will be held in May.
