Saco- Marie Estelle Delcourt Doucette, 85, of Clark St., Saco, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough. She was born and raised in Westbrook, one of seven children, the daughter of Albert and Merilda (St. Pierre) Delcourt. She later moved to Saco and worked as an executive secretary at the West Point Pepperell in Biddeford and Cyro Industries in Sanford. Marie was active in the community and a member of the Tea Party. She served on the city council and the board of directors at the library. She was also an active member of the Association at Pickerel Pond, where she had a camp. She is survived by a son Steven Doucette of Saco; two daughters Susan Sanford of Portland and Sharon Doucette of Lighthouse Point, FL; a brother Paul Delcourt of Westbrook; a grandchild Nicholas and his wife Kayla Sanford; and a great grandchild Kaycen. Honoring her wishes there will be no funeral service. Spring burial will be in St. Hyacinth Cemetery. On line condolences may be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com.
