Marguerite A. LeBlanc, 96, of Gorham, passed away June 3, 2016 at Fallbrook Woods in Portland with her daughters by her side. She was born March 13, 1920 in Westbrook and through the years was employed at S.D. Warren, Dana Warp, Serta, Benoit's, and the Men's Shop. She was a lifetime member of St. Hyacinth Church and belonged to the Daughters of Isabella and the Ladies of St. Anne. Marguerite was also active in several church groups and did a lot of volunteer work throughout her lifetime. She made friends easily and loved to travel and share stories and pictures of her adventures with anyone who would listen. Marguerite loved to brag about her girls (dogs) Freezette and Sunshine who were her loving companions for years and never let out of her sight. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene E. LeBlanc and son Eugene L. Leblanc. She is survived by her daughters Jeannette Rose Murch of Gorham whom she resided with for over nine years, Marguerite M. LeBlanc of Westbrook, and Annette Labrecque of Arundel; her sisters Louise Bushey and Rose Sidebottom of Westbrook; she also leaves behind several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Monday at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at St. Hyacinth Church (St. Anthony's Parish). Burial will follow in St. Hyacinth Cemetery.
