Margo Hubbard Bedell, 82, passed away January 13, 2022 after a long courageous battle at Maine Medical Center. She was born February 05, 1939 in Rockland, ME; the daughter of Marion and Ashley Hubbard. Margo graduated from Union High School class of 1957 as Valedictorian. She pursued her career attending hair Styling School. Margo owned and operated two beauty shops. She later earned her license in cosmetology and later taught for many years. Teaching was her most satisfying. Margo loved traveling, family and life. She is predeceased by her parents, and her beloved step father Paul Doherty and late husband Richard Bedell. Surviving are sisters Carole Redd of Standish, Pamela Sawyer of Warren, Patricia Arsenault of Westbrook, Deidre Doherty of Union; brother Ashley Hubbard of California, Patrick Doherty of New Hampshire, Timothy Doherty, Warren and Dennis Doherty of Belfast; Twenty One nieces and nephews; her beloved significant other Robert Wescott of Portland. Her family would like to thank the surgical and bean fifth floor teams for outstanding support, kindness, and care. Celebration of Margo's life to be held in the spring.
