Margaret Mary Thomas Lefebvre, 72, of Westbrook, passed away peacefully at Maine Medical Center on Monday, September 15, surrounded by her family. Born in Portland on June 9, 1941, daughter of Mary Naaykens and Walter Thomas. She married (Albert) Paul Lefebvre on October 29, 1960. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's and St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Churches. The most important things in Margaret's life were family and faith. She loved baking and crafting and was well known for her sugar eggs, gingerbread houses and baby blankets. Margaret is survived by her children: Kathleen O'Brien of Scarborough, Theresa Libby of Portland, Paul Joseph Lefebvre and his wife Michelle of Gray, Sharon Perez and her husband Luis of Westbrook. Grandchildren: Brian, Rachell, Evan, Eric and Sydney. Great-grandchild: Gauge. She will be missed by many other family and friends, notably Michael Walp and his wife Anne of Portland. Visitation will be Saturday, September 21 from 10 am – 1 pm at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St. Westbrook ME, where a memorial service will follow at 1 pm.
