NAPLES – Margaret A. "Peg" Cabral, 66, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at her home. She was born in Malden, MA on January 30, 1952, the daughter of Margaret (Longmuir) and John "Jack" Kenney, III. Peg grew up in Massachusetts, and after high school went on to study Behavioral Sciences at Northern Essex Community College. She was a natural care giver and made that her career. For many years she worked for CLASS, a 'Day-Hab' place for the mentally challenged. On June 23, 1974, she married Thomas J. Cabral and together the pair raised their two children in Wakefield. It was not until 2009, that she made the move to Maine. Peg loved snowmobiling and was the secretary for the Muddy River Sno-Seekers snowmobile club for many years. She also enjoyed the simple things in life, like sitting in her back yard, reading a book, and watching the sun set over the lake. Family always came first for Peg. She was a caring mother, and always provided a loving home in which everyone always ended up at. Peg was quite possibly the best person you would ever meet, and she never had a bad word to say about anyone. Peg also had a great love for her dogs, the late Muttley, and Gizzy. She is survived by her loving husband Thomas Cabral; son, Jonathan Cabral; daughter, Sharon Cabral and her significant other Andy Erskine; sisters, Nancy Serino and Barbara Gauvin and her husband Albert; and many much-loved nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be celebrated at 2pm on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Windham Chapel of Dolby, Blais, & Segee, 434 River Road, Windham.
