Obituary

TOPSHAM & WESTBROOK – M. June Moore, 88, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born in Portland on June 30, 1932, the daughter of Freeman and Sylvia (Wamboldt) McLeod. The most important thing in June's life was her family and she enjoyed being with them the most. She had plenty of them with 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren – she had over 50 grandchildren running around, with a couple more on the way. June enjoyed occupying her time at home by playing Township & FarmVille on her tablet, and watching the birds and flowers out her front window She enjoyed spending time on the water, especially Little Sebago, boating with family and ocean fishing with her husband. She spent a lot of time sewing for and teaching her granddaughters to sew. She loved shopping and never turned down an offer to go to a store, especially if one one of the girls was going to the dollar store, she would give the kiddies a $5 bill and let them buy whatever they wanted. Her family would like to extend a special thanks to Karisa for being her NaNs caregiver while the family worked. Having NaN at home would not have been possible without Karisa. And to Nora, the family dog who was by her side, making sure she was safe. We would also like to thank CHANS Home Health & Hospice of Brunswick. Special thanks to Amanda & Abby. And thank you to her Providers at Martin's Point Health Care on Farley Rd. in Brunswick. In addition to her parents, June was pre-deceased by her husband, Nathan Moore; sister, Christine; granddaughter, Linda Evans; nieces, Anona Spaulding and Cindy Fillinger; sister-in-law, Jacqueline; and brother-in-law, Fred Fillinger, Jr. She is survived by her children, Christine Newland & family of Naples, FL, Debbie Cyr and husband, Wayne of Naples, FL, Dawn Roberts and husband, Fred of Westbrook, Philip and Patricia Bowden of Westbrook, and Kimberly Applebee and husband, Rick with whom she resided; grandchildren, Wayne, Jr., Michael & Todd Cyr, Jonathan Dumbrocyo, Tracy Powers, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Philip, III & Christopher Bowden, Nicole Prescott, Robert Rollins, Isaac Rollins, Krista Warren, Karis Warren, and Sara Applebee; nephew, Fred Fillinger, IV & family; and nieces, Lorraine Gadway, Laura Fillinger, and Jackie Fillinger.
