Obituary

Lucy Mae Millett, 80, of Windham, Maine, passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 6, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Minnie Eva Woods, and four dear siblings, Buddy, Skip, Sally, and Tina. She is survived by her cherished sister, Judy Gill. Lucy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose quiet strength and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. She met the love of her life, Lineous Millett, in high school, and from that moment on the two were inseparable. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and family. Lucy was the proud mother of three children, Lincoln, Lynn and Lawrence, grandmother to six, and great-grandmother to four. Her family was the center of her world. She always put others before herself, offering kindness, patience, and understanding to anyone who needed it. She never raised her voice or spoke a harsh word. Instead, she gave hugs freely, reminded everyone how much she loved them, and provided a comforting shoulder to cry on. Lucy had a rare gift for listening — truly listening — and making others feel seen and valued. Her quiet presence brought peace to those around her, and her love will continue to guide her family forever. Lucy's life was a beautiful example of grace, compassion, and unconditional love. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of gentleness and warmth will live on in all who knew her. A celebration of life for Lucy will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Highland Cliff Advent Christian Church. Friends and family are welcome to stop by at any time during those hours to share memories and celebrate Lucy's life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor her memory with a simple act of kindness toward someone in need. Dolby, Blais, & Segee Windham Chapel is honored to be entrusted with arranging Lucy's services and being given the opportunity to serve the Millett family.
