Lorraine C. Johnson. March 16, 1939 - August 17, 2015 Resident of Windham. Following a short illness, Lorraine passed away peacefully at her home. Lorraine spent her childhood in Portland, Maine. She settled in Westbrook and became a full time mom to two busy sons while working at Wyerhouser. One of her proudest accomplishments was returning to school and receiving her diploma from Windham High School. She was one of five children born to the late Harold E. Norberg Sr. and Jessie M. Norberg (Adams) and was the beloved life partner of Darrel Lovley for over 20 years. Lorraine will forever be remembered by her family. Sons, Timothy C. Johnson and his fiancé Stacia, Thomas A. Johnson and his wife Gail. Her brothers Harold Norberg Jr. and his wife Yvonne, and Ronald Norberg and his wife Betty. She was predeceased by sisters Nancy Lee Norberg and Jessie Marie Norberg. Lorraine cherished her grandchildren Sabrina and Tayla Johnson, and Kimberly and Nathan Johnson, and her great-grandchildren Cameron and Brooke Tuttle, and James and Emmet Johnson, along with numerous other family members and countless friends whom were blessed to know her. Lorraine touched the lives of so many people with her kind and loving spirit, bright smile, genuine care for others, and sense of humor. She loved good conversation and would often chat at length with everyone she met. Her memory for the people and events throughout her life was amazing and she was always ready for a shopping trip to a church bazaar, a bean-hole supper, or a sale at Macy's. Above all, Lorraine treasured every moment spent with her family. Friends and family are invited to attend a wake on Thursday, August 20th, 2015, from 6pm to 8pm, at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St. Westbrook, ME. 207.854.2341. On Friday, August 21st, 2015, there will be a memorial service held at 1 pm at St. Ann's Episcopal Church, 40 Windham Center Road, Windham, ME.
