Westbrook, ME – Loretta F. Zemla, 75 passed away Tuesday October 10, 2023 peacefully in her sleep. She was born April 15, 1948 in Portland, Maine the daughter of Frank and Philomena (Caiazzo) Fowler, graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School and has resided in this area all of her life. She was a devoted mother of four and grandmother of six and a loving sibling to two brothers and extended family. Members of her family include her husband of 53 years, Rick Zemla; three daughters Tammy Hansen and her husband Joe of Gorham, Christine Bishop and her husband Jeff of Gorham and Cheryl Zemla Talbot and her significant other Matt Doiron of Gorham; six grandchildren, Ryan McMullen and his wife Alexandra, Taylor Hansen, Joey Hansen, Emily Storm and her husband Max, Kaitlyn Talbot and Jacob Zemla; two brothers Frank Fowler and his wife Laurie of Portland and Gary Fowler and his wife Nancy of Windham; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Eric Zemla, sister Anna Ross and mother and father. Visiting hours will be Friday October 20, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook where the funeral will be held Saturday October 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m with Rev. Tim Higgins officiating. Burial will be in Mayberry Cemetery in Windham at a later date.
